FastPfu DNA Polymerase
TransStart FastPfu DNA Polymerase is a fast, high-fidelity and high-processivity DNA polymerase combined to double-hotstart (TransStart®) technology. It was engineered from Pfu Polymerase to increase its affinity for dsDNA and enhance its processivity and other caracteristics.
Comparison with other high-fidelity DNA Polymerases
Advantages of FastPfu DNA Polymerase
- The extension rate is about 2-4 kb/min.
- Fidelity is 54 times higher than EasyTaq DNA Polymerase.
- Blunt-end PCR products can be directly cloned into pEASY®-Blunt vectors.
- Amplification of genomic DNA fragment up to 15 kb.
- Amplification of plasmid DNA fragment up to 20 kb.
- Available with or without 2.5 mM dNTPs for additional convenience.
