FlyCut™ Sma I Restriction Endonuclease

FlyCut™ Sma I is expressed and purified from E.coli that carries the recombinant Sma I gene. The molecular weight is 29.7 kDa, with the recognition site is CCC^GGG. The optimal reaction temperature is 25°C for full activity or 37°C for 50% activity. Heat inactivation can be achieved by incubating at 65°C for 20 minutes. This enzyme is not sensitive to dam ordcm methylation but is sensitive to mammalian CpG methylation.
