TransSafe™ Mycoplasma Prevention Reagent are ready-to-use concentrated stock solutions composed of three mycoplasma antibiotics. These mycoplasma antibiotics include macrolide, fluoroquinolone and tetracycline, which can effectively interfere with DNA replication and protein expression of mycoplasma. The TransSafe™ prevention reagent effectively prevents mycoplasma contamination during cell culture process. In addition to mycoplasma contmination prevention, the provided antibiotics allow prevention of common gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria contamination. If used daily for cell culture, it serves as a substitute to penicillin and streptomycin antibiotics. The TransSafe™ Prevention Reagent has the advantage of having high potency (low active working concentration) and low cytotoxicity.
