PlantZol™
PlantZol is a Plant DNA Extraction Reagent that provides an easy and fast method to isolate high-quality genomic DNA from plants. Plant tissues are disrupted by grinding into liquid nitrogen. DNA is released with the action of detergents. DNA is separated from other components by centrifugation and precipitated with isopropanol. Plant Zol™ is also used for DNA extraction from polysaccharide- and polyphenol-rich plants.
Advantages of PlantZol Plant DNA Extraction Reagent
- Isolated DNA is suitable for PCR, restriction enzyme digestion and southern blotting.
- Isolated DNA range of 20-50 kb.
