Avr II Restriction Endonuclease

FlyCutTM Avr II is expressed and purified from E.coli that carries the recombinant AvrII gene. The molecular weight is 42.3 kDa, with the recognition site at C^CTAGG. The reaction is conducted for 5-10 minutes at 37oC, and heat-inactivated at 80oC for 20 minutes. This enzyme is not sensitive to dam, dcm or mammalian CpG methylation.

Applications

Restriction digest of Genomic DNA, plasmid DNA or PCR product.

Unit Definition

One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to digest 1 μg of λ DNA in 1 hour at 37°C in a total reaction volume of 50 μl.
